Welcome to Giovanni's deli world, where Classic Italian meats, breads & pantry staples are the name of the game. We love grabbing a breakfast or lunch here to enjoy on the beach. 

We love Jason Bakery to either start our day or cure an afternoon slump. The hip, cosy hotspot has lovely drinks and insanely good freshly baked croissants.

It's your typical New York deli–think Everything Bagel, Shmear, Pastrami–but it's not in New York. This Sea Point gem is perfect for breakfast, lunch or grabbing a classic New York bagel to-go! And word on the street is they have the best pastrami in all of Cape Town. 

Nourish'd Café & Juicery is the place to be for refreshing and flavourful healthy food. They have mostly vegan and vegetarian dishes. The amazing atmosphere, great food, and lovely staff keep us coming back over and over again. 

Looking for the perfect morning oat coffee or matcha and a treat? Head to okja café, a bright and trendy coffee spot guaranteed to satisfy your cravings. 

When we're in town, we love to start our day at Our Local. Preferably with Eggs Florentine, a Mimosa and a good book. Maybe stay for lunch with a friend, so a Caesar Salad and another drink (this time it's probably a Cosmo). Coffee and cake in the afternoon, then dinner with the family. And did we mention it's also a plant shop? What can we say, we LOVE this neighbourhood gem. 

SALT is one of those places, we still think about for days after. It's intimate, it's bustling and it's all about sharing. Grab a bottle of wine, some small plates for the table and chat the night away with your friends. Oh, and the view of the harbour is the cherry on top!

Nestled in a little courtyard is the oh-so romantic Strangers Club, where we love to go for a delicious brunch or coffee by Rosetta Roastery. Whether you're in the mood for something light and sweet, or hearty and savoury, they have it all - even a little concept store!

All-day breakfast, freshly roasted coffee and a French Toast we still dream about sometimes. Truth Coffee Roasting has it all, plus a fun steampunk-themed touch. It's the perfect spot to spend the day: enjoy a coffee in the morning, coffee-infused cocktail in the afternoon and one or two fresh croissants in between.
