And if you're more jet set than Easyjet set, slithering down a slide with a mojito in hand on a Disney ship is probably your idea of a nightmare. But what if there were a chicer way to sail the seven seas? What if you could dive in to life offshore just as elegantly as back on land?

Côte d'Azur
A real no-brainer, the French Riviera is an ideal place to spend warmer days. And to head by yacht, of course. With a scenic coastline and exclusive ports like Saint-Tropez and Monaco, it's got yacht written all over it.
The Whitsunday Islands
With crystal-clear waters, pristine white sandy beaches and vibrant marine life that's perfect for divers, the Whitsunday Islands is pretty much our dream spot for a yachting holiday. Venture beyond the ship's rails to snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef or chill on stunning secluded beaches.
Bora Bora
Not exactly the easiest destination to reach, no, but Bora Bora should probably be top-of-list if you've got a week or two to spare. Lose yourself in the turquoise lagoons and lush green islands before zooming back to your boat for the night.
The Amalfi Coast
Cruise along the stunning Amalfi Coast and take in dramatic cliffs, storybook towns and fragrant lemon groves. The views from the water are so good you may even be tempted to stay aboard. But avoid temptation! Sip limoncello in Positano, dig into fresh seafood in Ravello or poke around the shops in Sorrento for treasures to take home.
The British Virgin Islands
Ahoy! Leave grey, drizzly spring behind and set sail for the British Virgin Islands. Even if you're not a seasoned mariner, this gorge British overseas territory is perfect to explore by boat. So long as you don't have to do the sailing, of course. Calm, warm waters and steady trade winds make this the consummate yachting destination.
Zanzibar
This Tanzanian archipelago has sweeping, untouched beaches and water so clear it's almost alarming. Anchor near one of the sheltered islets and let the balmy East African breezes lull you to sleep. Heaven.
Galapagos Islands
Into nature too? The Galapagos Islands are probably the best fit for your aquatic adventure. The chain of Ecuadorian islands is home to some of the most jaw-dropping wildlife we've ever encountered. Bonus points for great weather and calm seas.
