With over 19 beers on tap and the occasional live gig, The Fork and Tap feels like a true country pub. Check out the blackboard of seasonal specials and try out the Kiwi classics, though fish & chips and a prime beef burger are the hearty go-to's. 

If you're in the mood for a less ambitious, but still equally remarkable amble then the Arror River Bridges Trail could be the one for you. Covering a distance of 4km, either go on foot or hire some bikes. And good news if you've got your furry friends with you: this route is dog friendly!
