For freshly made bagels cooked to perfection, stop by at Bagels Etc. We won't force you to order this, but strongly encourage getting a toasted bagel with egg, cheese, sausage, and a hash brown. It will change your life. So cash only so make sure to bring some dollars! 

While it is a little bit farther than most places, Doubles is well worth the trip. This wonderful café serves delicious coffee and whips up some delicious breakfast sandwiches. It is also one of the best cafés to get some work done so take a seat and enjoy the day. 

There is nothing better than walking around Eastern Market on a sunny weekend day. Take the metro in the morning and make your first stop The Market Lunch in the food court for delicious pancakes and sausage. Then stroll the hall and stands outside for your next vintage find, home decor, or random knick knacks. Finish off with a walk around the neighborhood and look at the cute colourful houses. 

An indie hotspot with retro-chic décor and cool staff. This is the ideal spot to hit up whether you want early morning coffee and pastries or inventive bites alongside a glass of wine in the evening. 

Dining at St. Anselm is as if you are stepping in to the American Dream itself. The decor and vibe of the place is enough for us to keep coming back, but the food is what really drives this place home. Enjoy their renowned biscuits, pancakes, and burger.
