Rhiannon Pickles

Rhiannon – or, as we like to call her, our walking art encyclopedia – is the founder of Pickles Widmer & Co., the communications agency she launched in 2006. Splitting her time between Amsterdam's canals and the olive groves of Sicily, she balances the fast pace of the art world with making ceramics and producing Pantanello Sicily, her own organic olive oil. A History of Art graduate from the University of Cambridge with a Master's from The Courtauld Institute of Art, Rhiannon has led communications for institutions including documenta, the Istanbul Biennial and Platform Dalí. Fluent in English, Dutch and Italian, she's just as likely to introduce you to an emerging artist as she is to the story behind a centuries-old masterpiece. It's this curiosity – and knack for bringing people together – that has made her one of the art world's most trusted connectors.
