Raimondo di San Germano

live like a local in
Milan Dolomites

Splitting his time between Switzerland and Milan, speedboat scion Raimondo has found a rhythm that balances nature and movement. In Switzerland, life slows down — skiing through winter, hiking through summer — while Milan keeps him connected, a vibrant base with an easy getaway to the mountains, the countryside, the lakes, and the sea.

Travel has been part of Raimondo’s life since childhood. It’s become both an essential part of his work as well as a personal pursuit — a way to enrich his perspective and further his appreciation of his roots. Even when visiting familiar places, he finds there’s always something new to discover; a different route, a new neighbourhood, a shift in mindset.

He rarely names favourites, believing that each city has its moment depending on when and how you experience it. Lately though, Indonesia has held his attention — a world unto itself, layered with cultures, languages, and incredible hospitality. Lake Toba and Nihi Sumba remain standouts, though Africa, and perhaps some heli-skiing in Canada or Kamchatka, are calling next.
