Mariella Avino grew up at Palazzo Avino – the rose-hued 12th-century palazzo above Ravello that her father discovered in ruins in 1995 and spent two years restoring. After studying in Rome and Lausanne, she returned to take the helm in 2011, renaming it after the family two years later. Today, she runs it alongside her sister Attilia, filling the pink palace with contemporary art, a precise eye for detail and a certain Costiera hospitality.
