Born in New York, raised between England and the Netherlands and now based in Cascais, our friend Bibi van der Velden certainly knows a thing or two about great jewellery. Behind her eponymous fine jewellery line, she turns gold, pearls and wonderfully unexpected materials into wearable sculptures. When she travels, she brings that same curiosity, seeking out great art, nature, beautiful hotels and the sort of places you’d want to keep to yourself. She has an eye for a hidden gem, whether it’s around her neck or somewhere on the map.
