Designed by Leo Neves and made in Brasil, WAIWAI Rio is revolutionising the handbag. With the bold designs and abstract features, accessories are placed at the forefront, elevating any outfit and making the bag the staple item. 

The Corcovado stands at the bay of Rio, and is now most recognised for the statue of Christ the Redeemer at the city. The vast greenery that surrounds you is remarkable when viewed against the backdrop of the urban city below: take a hike up one of the many paths, or catch the train departing from Cosme Velho. 

When you first step into this library it is easy to feel overwhelmed: the opulence does not just stop at the exterior façade. Home to over 350,000 works, beautiful stained glass windows, and wooden frames sprawling across the walls, this library is culturally and architecturally impressive. 

Otherwise known as the iconic 'Lapa Steps' the stairs are a work of art designed by artist Jorge Selarón. Now a tourist hotspot, they can be exceptionally busy though are well worth a visit. 215 steps cover 125 metres making it a long, but fulfilling walk!

Designed by architect Edgar de Oliveira, the Cathedral is both geographically and architecturally located at the center of the city. With its modern form, and square frames dividing the stained glass, this is a cultural spot of Rio not to be missed.
