Pisac is a small town in the Sacred Valley, acclaimed for its impressive ruins and colourful artisan market. The ancient site, situated on the hillside overlooking the town, features agricultural terraces or andenes, ceremonial buildings and a striking temple. What is now a historical site was back then a religious and agricultural centre for the Incas. After walking around the ruins, descend to the artisanal market, where you will want to take back home all the textiles, the ceramics and the iconic retablos.
