Rio de Janeiro's world-famous Copacabana Beach offers stunning views and crystal-clear waters.

The Corcovado stands at the bay of Rio, and is now most recognised for the statue of Christ the Redeemer at the city. The vast greenery that surrounds you is remarkable when viewed against the backdrop of the urban city below: take a hike up one of the many paths, or catch the train departing from Cosme Velho. 

Otherwise known as the iconic 'Lapa Steps' the stairs are a work of art designed by artist Jorge Selarón. Now a tourist hotspot, they can be exceptionally busy though are well worth a visit. 215 steps cover 125 metres making it a long, but fulfilling walk!

Head here for some fresh air and to stretch your legs! Pedra Bonita is a great hike with some beautiful sights. 

Whether you want to sit and enjoy a relaxing sundowner with a caipirinha or two in the summer, or want to see the surf reach nine feet during winter, the Ipanema beach is a wonderful spot all year round.

This calm beach is a great spot for families to go to and enjoy a day in the sun. With views of the Lagoa and the canal running from it separating this beach from Ipanema, we can't think of a more romantic beach destination with the most stunning sunsets!

Loved by surfers and sunbathers, this tiny hidden beach is well worth the small climb you take to get there. The beautiful water and white sand will want you to keep coming back.
