Perched high on a hilltop terrace is Aprazível, drink cachaças and eat delectable Brazilian food in this family-run restaurant. The lush tropical garden and beautiful views of Rio add to the ambiance, making it well worth the visit. Also note their effort to be sustainable. They use only organic produce, collect rain water and upcycle cooking oil into biodegradable soap - a win for the environment! 

Otherwise known as the iconic 'Lapa Steps' the stairs are a work of art designed by artist Jorge Selarón. Now a tourist hotspot, they can be exceptionally busy though are well worth a visit. 215 steps cover 125 metres making it a long, but fulfilling walk!
