Wandering the streets of Charleston, you can hardly turn a corner without stumbling across a handsome house or charming restaurant. One of the cutest little discoveries we ever had was Le Chambertin, an authentic French cafe and grocer.

You've likely noticed Brasserie La Banque at its prominent head on the corner of Broad and E Bay, but we prefer sneaking in the back door and going downstairs. Bar Vauté is a lovely gem that's not hidden, but just dark enough. Claim your table and camp out to enjoy one cocktail after another.
