Feast & Floret brings together two of life’s finer pleasures: Italian-inspired cooking with a Tuscanian twist and seasonal flowers. Set in a former 19th-century blacksmith’s shop and carriage house, the Hudson restaurant serves up handmade pasta, wood-fired vegetables and locally sourced produce. Before leaving, stop by the flower cart for a bouquet to take home – and perhaps a jar of honey from the restaurant’s own farm.

Hudson Roastery takes its coffee seriously, roasting small batches in-house and giving each blend a name with a local story behind it. Try the Rip Van Winkle signature blend or the Prison Alley dark roast, named after one of Hudson’s backstreet alleys. Pair your cup with a pastry or something from the breakfast and lunch menu, then take home a bag for your next morning brew.

With more than 60 contemporary sculptures and architectural installations scattered across 120 acres of meadows and woodland in Ghent, Art Omi is just 15 minutes from Hudson. Admission is free, and with new works appearing each year, there’s always something unexpected around the bend.

Part restaurant, part living gallery, The Corner sits inside Hotel Tivoli, where artists Helen and Brice Marden have filled the century-old building with eclectic furniture, striking lighting and contemporary art. In the kitchen, seasonal Mediterranean-inspired cooking makes the most of Hudson Valley farms, while the bar shakes up inventive cocktails and pours wines from around the world.
