The Manner
On the iconic tree-lined Thompson Street in NYC, The Manner Soho is a revamped take on the minimalist luxury of the usual Downtown hotel. Hannes Peer was the designer and icon behind the bold, block-print colours, the full length mirrored walls in the various rooms and suites and the entirely marble-fronted bathrooms. From the Rooftop Bar overlooking the city skyline, an aperitivo in The Apartment or cocktail at Sloane's and dinner at the neighbourhood bistro helmed by Chef Alex Stupak; these are spaces largely reserved for guests and friends, though that also draw in SoHo's local hubbub. The result? A funky, gloriously furnished, design-focused hotel that is simultaneously as luxurious as it is a cosy, homely place to wind down from the city chaos.
