This upscale Italian gem in Flatiron is led by a chef from the renowned Osteria Francescana, showcasing the essence of Emilia-Romagna cuisine. Its core revolves around nine house-made pastas, complemented by smaller but equally as delectable plates that have earned it its Michelin star.
Fried chicken and the largest champagne list in America: it may be outrageous, but it's damn good, and the atmosphere is unrivalled. It's a simple concept, but COQODAQ has mastered it. Go for 'The Bucket List' and try some of the juiciest, and crunchiest fried chicken you've ever tasted. Or, spice it up with 'The Golden Nugget' where a humble nugget is topped with ocean trout roe, or golden daurenki caviar.
Cosme is the sister restaurant to gloobles favourite ATLA. This sleek, elegant spot is wonderful for an evening of thoughtfully presented Mexican sharing plates.
The Twenty Two's first stop outside London has landed just off Union Square, and it's brought its clubby confidence with it. The setting is the landmarked Margaret Louisa Home, a Romanesque Revival building put up in 1891 as lodgings for the city's working women, now reinvented with art deco bars and candlelit corners. The rooms lean into a British American mash up, think floral wall tapestries, mosaic tiled floors and plush beds piled with oversize mohair blankets. Downstairs, Café Zaffri trades London's oysters and Champagne for modern Levantine plates under a stained glass ceiling and gilded floral wallpaper. A confident New York debut that still feels unmistakably Twenty Two.
