It doesn't get cooler than Petit Ermitage – the whole hotel is an artsy and eclectic spot with neon signs and lots of leopard print in West Hollywood. The rooms are totally rock’n’roll – a bit Parisian boudoir meets Moroccan riad, plus there's a 24/7 pool, a heated rooftop saltwater pool (those views of the hills) and a debaucherous bar where many secrets have been spilt. The garden doubles up as a butterfly and dragonfly sanctuary, too. Pets are welcome – interestingly enough, for being so detail-focused, plus peep the Dalís, De Koonings, and Mirós on the walls – so bring them to your tarot reading. Just carve out room for jazz night, where you'll sip a Love Potion cocktail while you wear your in-room Medina-inspired slippers.
