Oaxaca de Juárez

An absolute riot of colour, a place brimming with life, Oaxaca de Juárez (or, simply, Oaxaca) is just wonderful. Snack on fried grasshoppers in the zócalo or pick up stunning pottery from Doña Rosa's studio. You're bound to be delighted.

Puerto Escondido

We almost don't want to encourage anyone to go here, as it's already become so popular in the last few years that it hardly feels like a cherished secret anymore. Puerto Escondido is a beautiful beach town on the west coast of Oaxaca that's paradise for surfers, sun-seekers and serious chillers alike.
