The Nile Valley
in Egypt

The Nile Valley unfolds slowly, a ribbon of green cutting through desert, where life has followed the same rhythm for thousands of years. Think palm groves, ancient temples rising unexpectedly along the riverbanks, and feluccas drifting past at sunset.

Aswan

Set along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Nile, Aswan feels calm, sun drenched, and gently removed from the intensity of the north. Life here unfolds around the river, with feluccas drifting between granite islands, Nubian villages adding colour along the banks, and a pace that invites you to slow down. It is a place of soft light and quiet moments, where ancient sites like Philae and the journey onwards to Abu Simbel sit alongside long lunches, boat rides, and views that stay with you.

Edfu

Edfu is a small riverside town best known for its extraordinary temple, one of the most intact in all of Egypt, rising almost unexpectedly from the landscape. There is something quietly powerful about arriving here, often by boat, stepping from the rhythm of the Nile into a place that feels suspended in time.

Luxor

Though Cairo may have taken its place as the political and economic metropolis of Egypt, Luxor remains a remarkable place to visit. With historical monuments on pretty much every street, incredible architecture and wonderful vistas, boats meandering along the River Nile, and luscious trees lining the banks, this city remains mythically majestic.
