Once a Victorian hunting lodge built for the Earl of Lovelace in 1887, The Torridon is now an independently owned Highland hotel. Its 58-acre estate sits beside Loch Torridon, with shaggy Highland cows grazing outside and 365 single malts waiting in the whisky bar. The Michelin-starred 1887 restaurant takes its cues from the surrounding land and loch, with produce from the hotel’s own farm and kitchen garden.
