Today, it offers a curated selection of ready-to-wear garments and bespoke tailoring services, including plus-fours, kilts, and sport coats, crafted on-site by skilled artisans. The shop's walls are lined with exclusive fabrics, many sourced from local mills, with a royal warrant from King Charles III to top it all off.

Wild Gorse Studio is a leafy, light-filled corner of the Highlands where Julia’s passion for floristry meets a love of wild, foraged botanicals. Peruse the shop for plants and homeware, pick up coffee and cakes from the kitchen, or join a hands-on floral workshop if you have a morning or afternoon to fill.

There is luxury, and then there is Aldourie Castle Estate. Amidst 500 acres of gardens, meadows, and greenhouses, stands Aldourie Castle. With such a grand exterior, the rooms are remarkably less austere; instead, they are homely and comfortable. Our highlight is The Boathouse: carved in the shape of a boat's hull, watch the sunset over Loch Ness. It's magical.
