Looking for a last minute present, or souvenier. Head to Digger. With its bright yellow facade, the place looks as welcoming on the exterior as it is inside. From one of a kind gifts, to items you hardly knew existed, you can find all sorts of gems in this tiny store. 

Home to one of the oldest, largest and most historic pathology collections in the United Kingdom, Surgeons' Hall Museum first opened the doors in 1832. A truly fascinating visit, and that's before mentioning the beautiful building the collection is housed within. 

Ironically, the home cooked food served here is anything but mini. It's generous in size, heart-warming and mouth-wateringly scrumptious. There's nothing fussy here but the vibe is unbeatable. As you can't book in advance, be prepared to queue before popping open your BYOB and tucking into a spectacular Korean feast. 

There's not a day that goes by, come rain or shine, that there isn't a queue outside the door of Mary's Milk Bar. It's here that homemade gelato and chocolate is made fresh every morning. A quest to try each of the flavors proves difficult since the menu changes daily, though the pistachio is always a safe bet. And if the goat's cheese & jammy figs happens to make an appearance, run don't walk.
