The Clarence Tavern is one of those places that just makes you want to stay a while. With its dark wooden interior, extensive wine list and delicious dishes, it's one of our favourite spots in the neighbourhood. Grab a pint, snag a seat and share a buttery pie with the table.

Word on the street is this is the most authentic Irish pub outside of Ireland, and, well, we can't argue with that. Whenever we're in the area, we make it a point to stop by for a Guinness (or five) and catch up on all the local gossip—because what's an Irish pub without a bit of craic?

This cosy neighbourhood cafe takes a creative approach to classic breakfast and brunch dishes. Avoid the temptation to feast to bursting, as you'll want to save room for a rich, bracing espresso and the miso white chocolate cookie. It might just be our favourite sweet treat in all of Stoke Newington.

Dance freely in a quirky basement with empowering Rihanna songs and sip the night away with your ride or dies in the grooviest Mezcal bar of London.
