They say it takes a village and Anya Hindmarch has conjured up her own. The aptly named Anya Village is an entire hub of creativity. Grab a coffee from the Anya Cafe, head into ANYA LIFE for some aesthetic homeware and head to The Labelled Shop to pick up your handbag of the season. 

Utterly welcoming, this surprisingly small hotel only has 14 bedrooms, which gives it the feel of a private townhouse. Each one is a maximalist colour blast of joyful interior design with marbled lampshades, pretty stained-glass light fixtures and wallpaper everywhere. It also hides one of Chelsea’s best-kept secrets downstairs: Japanese restaurant The Fuji Grill, with an omakase bar and a garden for sushi suppers on a hot summer’s night.

This converted church, slotted into a street of red-brick mansion blocks, is an under-the-radar haunt. Catch the Royal Philharmonic, jazz bands, ballet performances and candlelit piano concerts as well as talks by fascinating speakers and stand-up comedy. Tickets are a snip, and there is something curious on practically every night.
