La Perla is a local and very gate-kept gem. Our friend Lia argues that this may be the best wood-fired pizza in the city and a top-notch spot in Jordaan. This modern but simple and laidback pizzeria is excellent for sipping a spritz and people-watching during summer, but also a delightful date night nook for Amsterdam’s windy nights. 

Run by the same lovely team behind Café de Klepel, Parlotte is a sweet little bistro and wine bar tucked away on the Westerstraat. It's the best for chatting the day away with friends and family!

This speciality wine shop sells imported natural wines from all over the world. It offers a comprehensive tasting menu and in-store events, and can often be found at their sister restaurant Alex + Pinard.
