The level of intimacy in this art house cinema is what makes this spot so special. Situated in the heart of the city, Cinecenter has a diverse rotation of films - both blockbuster and indie!
Many workouts these days try to replicate the club feel, but Booty Club takes things one step further by hosting their bum-focused high intensity classes in Jimmy Woo and other clubs across the city.
In Japan, precision and quality reign supreme. The team at Sushi Hanabi have brought that ethos of excellence to their teeny-tiny omakase spot on the Leidseplein. Normally an…shall we say…unglamourous area, this square in the centre of Amsterdam might just be on the up-and-up thanks to the stellar sushi and yakitori at this 10-seat spot.s
The former Palace of Justice on Prinsengracht now houses the latest Rosewood venture, easily the city’s smartest place to rest your head. Studio Piet Boon’s interiors channel quintessential Dutch refinement: pleated headboards referencing judicial robes, textural fabrics, and Dutch art throughout (the Maarten Baas Grandfather Clock is a particularly nice touch). Outside, Piet Oudolf’s landscaped courtyard offers respite from busy canal-lined streets.
This has to be just about the cutest cinema we’ve ever seen. De Uitkijk is an iconic 1920s arthouse theatre with just one screen. But that one screen? Well, it shows some of the best films out there, from cult classics like Midnight Cowboy to more recent independent movies. There’s no popcorn here, so we like to sneak in our own snacks to nibble on with a glass of the house red.
