Het Ketelhuis is one of Amsterdam's quintessential arthouse cinemas and a fave amongst locals. Most screenings are Dutch-spoken independent films, but don’t let this discourage you from stopping by! Het Ketelhuis is also a lovely spot for coffee or something to eat, particularly in spring and summer!

This modern neighbourhood smokehouse is a fun retro-chic spot that serves the best Kansas-style barbecue in the city. We like their juicy delicious pork ribs and their pecan pie! 

As the name suggests, Café Beurre is a haven for butter lovers. Chef Kim Jongbloed has crafted a menu full of dishes celebrating our favourite fat. Think rhubarb, chilli and vodka infused butter poured over burrata or roasted red beetroot with ajo blanco and pistachio. Bonus: the whole menu is vegetarian!
