Not too far out of the city, you’ll find a gorgeous lake where life is a little quieter and slower than in Zürich itself. It is very easy to snag a swimming spot all to yourself here.

Open only in summer, Fischer's Fritz is perched right on the lake so naturally has some of the best views around. Their hyper fresh fish comes directly from their very own house fisherman Adrian Gerny. 

The iconic domed greenhouses are a must-see, as well as their vast collection of flora and fauna. A morning spent at the Botanical Garden is a morning spent well.
