Tucked away at the tip of Lanzarote is restaurant Mirador El Roque in the dreamy little fishing village Órzola. With views of the stunning pier bustling with small boats, or 'barquillos', we can't recommend a more picturesque spot to savour the freshest, most delicious seafood dishes.

Near the picturesque fishing village Órzola is the stunning Playa de Caletón Blanco, a cove with stunning turquoise water, sandy white beaches, and unique formations of volcanic lava scattered about.

We're aware that when we suggest going through a lava tunnel some eyebrows might be raised, but you have to trust us on this one. The Cueva de los Verdes are caves that were formed after a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago. Now you can explore the caves and (not so scary) tunnels through guided tours!

We love heading to the Haria Market on Saturdays to get a true traditional and local Lanzarote feel - this market is the go-to not only for fresh produce and baked goods, but also for artisanal crafts. A little birdie told us that you can't miss the cinnamon rolls while you're there!
