Down a somewhat popular road in the Chiado hub, Entropia manages to remain somewhat hidden – save for a scattering of trendy locals perched by the green windowsills, sipping on glasses of wine and tucking into silver-platter-served sharing plates. Inside, there is an intimate scattering of marble tables, a wooden bench hugging the perimeter of the dining room, low-lit wall lamps, and a mismatch of canvas and framed paintings on the walls. The menu, annotated with scribbled explanations of the dishes, is designed for sharing. The starters are more experimental – garatteok (Korean-style gnocchi) is served on a bed of burnt scallion and lemongrass sauce, while its iconic ricotta dumplings are soaked in a rich burnt onion and miso sauce. Mains are a creative spin on French bistro classics; there’s a simple choice between fish or meat, each served with triple-cooked fries and a vinaigrette-tossed lettuce salad.  A pistachio sundae served with white chocolate and raspberry compote, and a steamed brown cake topped with a generous dollop of golden crème fraîche and maple caramel, confirm that this is one of the top addresses in Lisbon.
