A weather-beaten fisherman's cabin on the UNESCO-protected Vegaøyan has been thoughtfully renovated by Stockholm-based design studio Kolman Boye Architects. An airy living space wraps around an open wood-burning fireplace, and large windows frame the rugged Norwegian landscape. Days are spent kayaking to nearby coves, hiking coastal trails and summiting Trollvasstinden mountain, and slowing down.
