Tucked away atop Hotel Continentale just overlooking the river, La Terrazza is a seriously dreamy spot for a cocktail or two as the sun goes down. The whiskey sours are particularly good.

A family-run trattoria, Ostera delle Tre Panche is wonderfully authentic. We always have a hard time choosing between their fresh pasta, classic Tuscan dishes and killer pizza.

Ponte Vecchio is one of the most iconic landmarks in Florence. This historic bridge is adorned with charming little shops and arches across the Arno River. Be warned: it is quite touristy but still worth a visit!
