The first beer importer of French and Belgian beers in Milan, Civitelli, planted its first tap in the centre of La Libera in the 1980s. Italo Manca and Gino Narducci since transformed this beer house into a homely parlour. Now the focus is as much on the beer as it is on the food; munch on typical Milanese cuisine with that iced-cold half.

A chill bistro for an aperitivo. Grab a table by the canal through spring, summer, and autumn and enjoy the cool vibes and view. They also have phenomal pastries and bread during the day time. 

Northern Italian food cooked to perfection. We love grabbing a table at this cozy trattoria and ordering a plate of freshly made pasta or meatballs. 

Famous for good reason. The trattoria's interior has a Wes Anderson touch with Art Deco wood panelling, burnt orange walls, and decorative floor tiles. The tripe, a constant on the menu, is our favourite.
