Dare we say our favourite restaurant in Milan is back... La Latteria is a compact, bustling restaurant serving traditional Milanese dishes. The void it left after closing its shutters last year has been filled, and boy are we ready to snag one of those nine tables.

The first beer importer of French and Belgian beers in Milan, Civitelli, planted its first tap in the centre of La Libera in the 1980s. Italo Manca and Gino Narducci since transformed this beer house into a homely parlour. Now the focus is as much on the beer as it is on the food; munch on typical Milanese cuisine with that iced-cold half.
