Part vintage boutique, part treasure trove, Malke Albert Vintage is especially worth visiting for its hand-painted ceramics – colourful, characterful pieces that feel far more personal than standard souvenirs. Alongside rails of vintage clothing and eclectic homewares, you’ll find beautifully imperfect plates, bowls and decorative objects with a distinctly Mediterranean feel, making it an easy stop for anyone wanting to bring a little piece of Rome home.

Part deli, part restaurant, Ruma Bottega e Cucina brings a slice of rural Maremma into the city through its farm-to-counter approach. Much of what’s served comes directly from their own land and dairy, from buffalo milk cheeses to seasonal vegetables and small batch produce. The space feels informal and convivial, with natural wines, artisanal pantry goods, and a focus on traceability that turns a simple meal into something far more considered.

This small but mighty beautiful baroque church is tucked away in the back streets behind Piazza Navona. Have a drink at the bar on the first level, a peruse of the exhibitions and enjoy the atmosphere of this place.

Featuring great natural wines, this wine bar with just a few tables has the perfect appetizer menu. Try the bruschetta with fresh ricotta, mortadella and pistachio pesto.
