Head to the Underdog for good specialty coffee and an all-day brunch. The freddo cappuccino has to be on the cards, you are in Greece after all. 

Come for the astonishing views of the Acropolis from the terrace, and stay for the excellent food. Cafe Avissinia has an incredible atmosphere no matter the time of day: though if you're about on a Friday or the weekend we highly recommend going for the live music. Alongside a carafe of vino, and a delicious moussaka it's the recipe for a perfect evening. 

Go up Philopappos to stretch your legs and see some great views while you do. A popular place for a promenade among Athenians as it offers great vistas of the Acropolis, the whole city of Athens and the Aegean Sea.

Cantina Social became the 'it' spot only by word-of-mouth. You won't spot it by looking for it's name on the door, but by instead the crowds of people all flocking to this charming neighborhood spot. Head to this 'café-bar' for an ice-cold beer, and excellent vibes.
