Le Bristol is the Parisian landmark that is engulfed in luxury, best for those looking for inner-city elegance. It is located in Paris's 8th arrondissement, wrapping the corner of the infamous Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré, meaning that the Champs-Élysée is on your doorstep, the Parc Monceau a mere wander away and the Grand Palais your local gallery. The rooms mediate between elaborate and traditional, though all follow a blue and pink colour scheme. If you don't nab a suite with Eiffel Tower views, the other accommodations boast glimpses onto the flower-filled courtyard.
Part of the boutique hotel group Chevalier Paris, Le Pavillon des Lettres has a special location facing the presidential palace of the Élysée. This family-owned hotel pays tribute to literature with each of its 26 rooms celebrates a world-renowned author. Every room is designed to be welcoming and cozy.
Hôtel de la Boétie was a bold new arrival in the 8th arrondissement back in 2023. Designed by Beata Heuman and part of the ever-stylish Touriste portfolio, this 40-room stay leans confidently into playful, design-led pizzaz near the Champs‑Élysées. Interiors are layered and characterful: bubblegum pink sheets, bright tiles, Diptyque amenities, and bathrooms as considered as the bedrooms (even the towels deserve a mention). There’s no restaurant, but breakfast is a standout – buttery viennoiserie, fresh baguettes, and perfectly crisp croissants. It’s very child-friendly (with charming touches like a mini passport for them to get a stamp in), but it’s a hotel that balances creative edge with comfort. For those after personality with polish, Boétie delivers.
