Marnes Bleues

Marnes Bleues is another welcome addition to a neighbourhood already packed with wine bars, prized bistros, and standout addresses. Conveniently located just metres from the Avenue Jacques de Liniers entrance to Buttes-Chaumont, it offers the perfect pit stop before or after a walk in the park. Consider Marnes Bleues the more casual companion to its older sister, Soif. Impeccably sourced wines are still poured straight from the counter tap, and here, the gentle chitter-chatter of locals provides the soundtrack as a selection of small plates –  smoked tofu tartare, perfectly grilled Padrón peppers, and fish crudo topped with a fruity apricot sauce – is paired with a bottle from the shelves. Our current pick is Quel Pied Danser, a light, chilled red.
