This cosy, relaxed hotel is ideal if you're travelling on your own or with pals for a girl's weekend in Paris (they even have an in-house yoga studio). It's relatively affordable and very well located if you want to traverse the city on foot.

It can be near impossible to get a reservation at this Parisian hotspot, but the Sisyphean task is well worth it. Come here for bistro classics like steamed artichoke, steak frites and more.

Home to the iconic extra large baguette filled with the famous entrecôte frites dish drizzled with the legendary and Frenchiest sauce. If you were a fan of L’entrecôte but this time want it on the go, the queue is worth the wait. Perfect for a quick lunch as one walks along the Seine and a perfect cure for a hangover or for those starving who skipped petit-déjeuner.

Flamboyant, and scrumptiously Parisian – it is after all designed by Martin Brudnizki. Inspired by the French salon, the hotel is born out of a clashing of ideas, making for rooms covered in marvellously mismatched prints, frescoes and gilded-swan taps. This is the place to stay when you're residing in Le Marais.
