Though we don't often find ourselves shopping when we're on a ski holiday, we always make an exception for ByMahe. This little boutique has a fab selection of fun, chic women's clothing.

This temple of alpine gastronomy compiles the best of French, Italian and of course Savoyard produce. Including a game pâté with porcini mushrooms, a mixture of fondue from Maître Boujon or a fish soup from the Alpine lakes.
