Haus W is less a chalet and more a quietly radical reimagining of Alpine heritage, tucked away in Zug near Lech where discretion is part of the landscape. A 16th century lodge brought back to life over a meticulous three year restoration, it balances historic integrity with a deeply contemporary sense of comfort. Expect four serene en suite bedrooms, a generous living room made for long, slow evenings, and a library anchored by a fireplace that draws you in after a day on the slopes. The design led spa and private sauna feel considered rather than showy, while the overall atmosphere curated by the family behind Almhof Schneider leans into a rare kind of warmth that is thoughtful, crafted, and entirely unforced.

Chef's Table is truly one-of-a-kind. With its unique creative menu, this fine dining hotspot is so good, you'll be booking your return visit on your way out the door.
