Down a quiet, bamboo-covered lane in Mullumbimby is the sanctuary we dream of. Spas, plunge pools and sauna abound, a trip to Kiva Spa should be on everyone's lists. 

A cold plunge is having its moment, and a trip to The Banya proves why. With its wood-fired sauna, steam room, two mineral pools and a cold plunge there's no better way to kickfire your morning. Treat yourself to a massage, or at the least a bite to eat at the in-house resto. 

Proving that you don't just find a good, draught pint in the UK, is The Middle Pub. Musical bingo on a Wednesday, Thursday trivia, "Krappyyokee" Fridays and a Sunday jam: there's no such thing as a dull moment. 

Our favourite spot to pick up a pastry or two and stop by for a freshly brewed Ona bean coffee to dunk that ever-so buttery croissant in. If you do happen to be in town for a tad longer, their catering team whip up a thoroughly delicious feast, both for the tummy and for the eye!
