With speakeasy vibes Little Mez is an ambient, underground cocktail bar with a quirky restaurant upstairs. Over 80 varieties of Mezcal and Tequila line the shelves so get ready for some tasty concoctions with a few nibbles on the side. 

With penthouse accomodation, a spa situated in what was once a gold vault, and a restaurant, cocktail bar, and grille with views overlooking Lake Wakatipu, Eichardt's Private Hotel is as luxurious as it is historic. With just seven suites, a penthouse, and a handful of private apartments an escape to Eichardt's should be on the cards!

This is the place to spot the sunset. With panoramic 360 views hop aboard Perky's, an old boat turned floating bar. Bring your own snacks and picnic to enjoy with a drink!

Located in a small upstairs kitchen is Kappa. It's low-key, inviting, and exceptionally cosy: whether this is due to it's tiny capacity, or Yoshi & Michiko's incredibly warm welcome we can't be sure. Despite its size, the sushi at this spot is exceptional. So pop on by to collect your take out, or book well in advance to dine inside.
