When we say sport café, The Bowlo Bangalow doesn't immediately spring to mind. Instead, this is a spot where you can sip on a pint, play a round of pétanque, tuck in to some hearty pub grub and on game days, watch the match.

If you're a design fiend then Julia Ashwood and Jamie Blakey's Sun Ranch is just for you. When you're trundling through the 55 acres of spectacularly rural, regenerated farmland, it's fair to say you don't expect to encounter this uber-chic Cali ranch house. 

Sometimes a classic beef pattie topped with spiced paprika, salad and plenty of pickles is just what we crave. So, if it happens to be around lunchtime and you're passing through Federal then Doma Cafe should be on the cards.
