Little Nap Coffee Stand is just a stone's throw away from Yoyogi Park, which is home to one of Tokyo's most creative communities. They serve up well-crafted lattes and thoughtful coffees to the lovely and creative crowd from the park.
This dreamy park was once the site of the Olympics back when Tokyo hosted the Summer Games in 1964. Present day it's simply a lovely place to wander around in for hours to enjoy the sun.
This hotspot is frequented by locals & tourists alike for excellent Western breakfasts & pastries, as well as terrific coffee! Order their famous super-fluffy dutch pancakes, they truly satisfy every craving!
Vacant/Centre sits subtly among Yoyogi-Uehara’s side streets, but its programme is anything but static. Founded by Yusuke Nagai, it functions as a flexible platform for exhibitions, talks, and cross-disciplinary projects. The stripped-back space is constantly reworked, reflecting Nagai’s interest in how environments shape experience. Expect a mix of art, objects, and ideas – often presented with a sense of openness that invites interpretation rather than instruction.
Le Cabaret Tokyo is a local wine bar specialising in French wines by the glass. Set on a street lined with tachinomiya (standing bars), it’s lively but unfussy. Make sure to go earlier in the evening to secure a spot as it gets busy after 7pm. Opposite, its sister standing bar Tabac is a good fallback option if you’re happy to stand. Ask for recommendations from the team, and if crème caramel is available, it’s worth ordering to share.
