Locals and discerning tourists alike flock to Honke Shibato for their superb grilled unagi bowls. From a river fish merchant 800 years ago to a booming restaurant spot in Osaka, it's safe to say that Honke Shibato are masters of their craft. Take their speciality Osaka mamushi, or the Ohitsu mamush if you're feeling like a little more jazz. 

With a splendid riverside terrace, Moto Coffee is the place to go to enjoy a good cup of espresso. Using the beans from Kajita and tea leaves from Tea House Yojaya expect the finest blends. Finish off with a slice of cheesecake - perfection in a bite!

The space is excellent. The food even more so. Chef Yusuke Takada serves up food that is nothing but exquisite, and almost too pretty to eat! Fusing together French cuisine with Japanese style and ingredients, a trip to La Cime is certainly going to be special. 

A michelin-star spot serving some terrific sushi, head here for a slow lunch and dine on the freshest seasonal fish, though served with some innovative flourishes. Expect lots of creativity, and some beautiful garnishing. The food here is almost too pretty to eat; until you've taken your first mouthful!
