Not only a cool gallery space, but also a shop with cool clothes, and an upstairs tearoom. Once you step inside you will feel like you are in a museum, roam around and discover. 

This is Kyoto's most famous Geisha district, it is filled with shops and restaurants as well as Ochaya (teahouses) where Geishas and their Maiko (apprentices) entertain. Stroll the streets around 5pm to have the best chance of catching a glimpse of a real Geiko. 

Though it is spangled with Michelin stars this terrific kaiseki is incredibly difficult to find: a true hidden gem. Set within a traditional tea house, this eight seat dining experience is as intimate as it gets.
