Just a few doors down from Keibunsha and close to Ichijoji’s Eizan railway line which takes you up the mountain to Kurama, this is a beautifully curated and very photogenic space selling a range of mainly French and Japanese antiques and furniture. Each item seems to tell a story and it’s a wonderful place to pick up a piece of aesthetically pleasing Japanese or European history.  

Be careful eating sashimi at sell fish because you will never want it from anywhere else again. This fish shop has some of the freshest of the sea.

Imagine a restaurant where only the freshest ingredients are handpicked from the nearby mountains and entire menus are created around them, that is Sojiki Nakahigashi. One of the hardest reservations to get in Kyoto, we truly suggest trying because this meal will be unforgettable. 

A charming secret coffee spot tucked away on a tiny alleyway in Kyoto. It oozes antique charm and is run by (you guessed it) a lovely husband and wife team who ensure that each guests feels as comfortable as possible. Though its menu is limited you are in for a treat here.
