The Cultural Heritage Centre in Arusha is more than just a museum—it's a vibrant space where history, art and culture meet. It houses an extensive collection of African art and a shop that sells everything from Maasai jewellery to Tanzanian tinga-tinga paintings. And if you're feeling particularly indulgent, they also have an extensive Tanzanite collection. This stunning blue gemstone is 1,000 times rarer than diamonds and can only be found in Northern Tanzania, so it's truly a special find.
