It is also a place to unwind, relax, and call home for your Cornwall adventure. With only 19 rooms, this spot is small, though big on comfort. 

On the Roseland Peninsula, St Mawes is the kind of fishing village to bring your camera to – pastel cottages, bobbing boats, and fresh sea air. Overlooking it all, St Mawes Castle sits tall and pretty on the headland, one of Henry VIII’s best-preserved coastal forts. You can walk the ramparts, watch for dolphins, then drop down into the village for crab sandwiches and a pint as the ferry comes in.

Perched on the harbour walk, this little shop holds the key to a coastal wardrobe; cashmeres, bright cotton tunics, tote bags, and locally-made jewellery fill the airy space. Everything you need for a stylish day in the British sun, rosé in hand, of course.
